Max Ernst

Max Ernst was a German painter, graphic artist and sculptor.

He received no art education, but studied philosophy, psychology, art history and literature at the University of Bonn. Returning from the front at the end of World War I, he became co-founder of the Dada group in Cologne in 1919 under the name Dadamax
